The PCFL-12/600 system from KiloVolt is designed in a convenient and practical for use and transportation single module for effective search of power cable faults in the field. The integrated, high-security Linux-based OTDR and industrial-grade computers with 17″ display allow easy fault location of cables up to 60 km in length using TDR, MIM, ICE and Decay methods. The high-voltage pulse generator of which the system consists allows testing the insulation of power cables with a constant voltage of up to 12 kV and a pulse energy of 576 Joules over the entire voltage range, thus facilitating efficient fault location.
