CTVan
Cable Test and fault location van

APPLICATION:

  • Testing of insulation of power cables, busbars, insulators and other solid dielectrics with AC and DC voltage.
  • Burning of defective cable insulation with DC voltage with parallel afterburning.
  • Preliminary determination of the distance to the place of cable damage.
  • Precise location of cable faults by induction and acoustic methods.

Description

The CTVan Cable Test and Fault Location Van offers a comprehensive solution designed for testing cable lines within the voltage range of 0.4 kV to 10 kV, accurately providing pinpoint areas of cable faults. Structurally, it encompasses both an operator’s compartment and a dedicated high-voltage compartment.

A distinct control rack serves as the demarcation between the operator’s compartment and the high-voltage section. This control rack hosts essential control components of the electrical laboratory, alongside display elements that facilitate real-time monitoring of test parameter values.

Furthermore, based on the specific preferences and needs of our esteemed Customers, the electrical laboratory can be further enhanced with supplementary equipment, thoughtfully integrated to align precisely with unique requirements.
